A document presents each of these talks on the page "3 conferences/3 talks"
These are "GENERAL PUBLIC" presentations... Everyone, from 10 to 110 years old, will find inspiration, food for thought and tips.
How was this presentation created?
In 2006, I participated in my first endurance challenge. A sequence of events led me to participate in at least three endurance challenges per year since. During these challenges, the following question came up several times:
"Are we doing the same race because you still have fun and I don't?"
I thought carefully and observed what I do differently. I wrote it all down, made a first presentation that resonated very strongly... And there it was, this speaking engagement was born.
I share my "JOYFUL" approach to all life's challenges. Result: we are "ALWAYS A WINNING!" no matter how the challenges that lie ahead unfold (even if they don't go as planned).
What values emerge from this talk?
We strongly find the following values:
-Trust, consistency and conviction
-Freedom, authenticity and fulfillment
-Power, curiosity, creativity, originality and adventure
-Perspective and balance
-Determination and resilience
-Peace, justice, respect for oneself, others, life and the environment
-Participation, positive attitude, happiness and passion
Of course. Contact me or reach the shop page of the website.
You can read Pierre Lavoie's preface here.
I have accumulated a great deal of knowledge with my Bachelor degree in "OUTDOOR INTERVENTION" as well as a fabulous experience with a multitude of endurance sports challenges (list available here) and outdoor adventures. I gathered the three essential principles that will allow you to always be comfortable when you go play outside.
For everyone: All ages: seasoned or Sunday walkers/hikers, newcomers.
For all organizations that bring and accompany participants in nature.
In 2023, my 1st CRAZY TOUR by bike took place... Round trip from home in Quebec to Alaska to participate in an Ironman distance triathlon.
RESULTS:
12,000 km
7 and a half months
30 speaking engagements
THE ADVENTURE OF A LIFETIME that I will reveal in this inspiring presentation.

The bicycle.
It is a conscious desire to carry out this project with the smallest possible environmental footprint.
Several years ago, I made the choice "not" to own a car. I approach this challenge every day with pleasure.. we can talk about it when we meet.
Contact me here to discuss the details of my visit to your town.
If you offer me accommodation during my CRAZY TOUR, I will give you a copy of my book "THE JOYFUL APPROACH TO CHALLENGES: ALWAYS WINNING!"
Via my Facebook page or the pleinairenor.ca website where you are currently.
Yes, it is possible to come ride with me during a portion of the CRAZY TOUR.
Only one condition: plan your approach or your return home by public transport or by bicycle. It would be illogical to join me or return home in a car when my tour aims to have the smallest environmental footprint. Beyond this small constraint, you are welcome.
A screen and a projector easy to connect to my computer.
I can tour different classes, larger room or auditorium.
Special measures related to C-19 are no longer necessary but:
-I have been vaccinated.
-I am very receptive to "wearing a mask" according to your organization's policies.
-I am very receptive to the physical distancing measure (2 meters) anywhere and at any time where it is easy to apply.
1- Every year since 2010 I have been BIKING to my Ironman triathlon in Lake Placid (New York state). Once the border is crossed, I still have a hundred kilometers to get to Lake Placid. In the summer of 2021, the Ironman company announces a new triathlon in Juneau, capital of Alaska. After checking, the Western distance between the border and Juneau is similar to the Eastern distance between the border and Lake Placid. Why not bike to Juneau, the same way I've been cycling to Lake Placid since 2010? It's the same! (Of course, there are 6000 km "more" between my home and the Western border... :) I will just need to leave a little earlier).
2- I dream, at each conference presented since 2017, of going on tour. Going to Juneau for a triathlon allowed me to realize this first tour so dreamed of... And I'm doing it again in 2025!
